INTERACT CLUB OF R. A. V. HIGH SCHOOL

 run by the Interactors of

Smt. M. D. Bhatia English Medium High School, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai, India.

Our club was inducted in the year 1967 under

Rotary Club of Bombay East.

Events

1.          On 30^th July 2010, Interact President  Neeraj Porecha, Incoming Interact President Kunal Ashar, other Members of Club and Moderator Pankaj Agarwal attended the Installation Ceremony of Rotary President Rajendra Sawant at Juhu Club Millennium, A-1, Gulmohar Road, J. V. P. D. Scheme, Vile Parle, Mumbai – 4000049.  

2.       Interactors collected Rs. 11,126 for NASEOH (National Society for Equal Opportunities for the Handicapped) compared to last years collection Rs. 8035.

3.       On 8^th September 2010 , the Interactor Mast. Kunal Ashar was installed as the President of Interact club of R.A.V. High School .The President of Rotary club Rot. Rajendra Sawant,  R.A.V. Committee members, Principal Mrs. Nisha Mohandas, Rotarians, Heads of R.A.V. Group of Schools, Guest Mrs. Swarna Venkat and Mrs T. P. D'souza, Teachers, Non Teaching Staff as well as Interact Club members attended the installation function.

    "Youth Month Cultural Programme" was also conducted at the same time. Interactors put up various cultural programmes for the Rotarians & teachers.

   Rotary Club also gave a token gift to winners.

4.       On 15^th September 2010, Interact President  Kunal Ashar, Interactor Dipesh Bhimani and Moderator Pankaj Agarwal attended the Governor's Meet at Juhu Club Millennium, A-1, Gulmohar Road, J. V. P. D. Scheme, Vile Parle, Mumbai – 4000049.

5.        On 29^th September 2010, Interact Club celebrated Teachers Day by presenting teachers and other staff members with token gifts.

          (5 pens X Rs 4 each X 35 staff members = Rs. 700)

6.        On 10^th October 2010, Interact Club and Vali Mandal conducted a Poster Painting Competition on the topic "Save Planet Earth"  for the students of the school.

             Out of 84 participants the best 10 posters are converted into greeting cards. These greeting card are sold to Interact Club members as well as those teachers and students who are interested to buy them.
