Interact club 2009-2010
Annual Report 2009 – 2010
In July 2009 Interactors & Moderators were invited for the
installation ceremony of the Rotarian Gadiwala Murtaza at Hotel Avion.
Mrs. Swarna Venkat, the Headmistress , Mr.
Pankaj Agarwal, the Moderator , Miss Aneri Koradia, the President of
Interact Club and Mast. Porecha Niraj M, the Incoming President of
Interact Club attended the function .
On 7th
August 2009 , the Interactor Mast. Porecha Niraj M was installed as the
President of Interact club of R.A.V. High School .
The President of Rotary club Rot. Gadiwala
Murtaza, the President of R.A.V. Committee Shri Dhirubhai Mehta & R.A.V.
Committee members, Rotarians, Heads of R.A.V. Group of Schools, Interact
Club members attended the installation function.
Scholarship and
Awards were given to the students of Ramji Assar Vidayalya High School
for Excellence in studies and those who need Economical Support, Merit
Class in S.S.C. and Excellence in handwriting.
In the month of August a movie “October Sky” was
shown to the Club members.
On 8th
August 2010 Interactors conducted “Singing Competition” for Vali Mandal.
Prize winners were also awarded by Interact Club.
On 5th Sept 2009, Interactors celebrated Teachers Day by
presenting teachers and other staff members with token gifts.
On 18th
Sept 2009 Interact youth month was celebrated where Interactors put up
various cultural programme for the Rotarians & teachers
The programme was attended by the members of R.A.V.
committee, Rotarians of Rotary club of Bombay East, Heads of R.A.V. group
of schools and our club members.
Rotary Club also gave a token gift to all the
Participants.
As a part of community service, newspaper
collection drive was taken up from 01st Feb 2010 to 6th
Feb 2010. The Interactors collected newspapers from the students from std
V to IX and amount of Rs. 1500 /- (Rs.6.50 x230 kg) was collected.
On 8th
Feb 2010 Interact club donated Rs. 1500 as Medical aid to the school.
Interact club felicitated the retiring teacher Mrs.
Dorothy and Principal Mrs. Swarna Venkat with a token gift.
In the month of August, Interact Club members
collected Rs. 8035/- for NASEOH.
In the month of March, Mast. Kunal R. Ashar was
elected as the President Elect and Miss Prima R. Parekh as the incoming
Secretary for the Interact Club of R. A. V. High School. |
